Man Falls While Cutting Tree At Home In Westport

A man was injured when he fell from a bucket truck and landed on a truck below while cutting a tree in Westport.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. Monday on Bumble Bee Lane, said Lt. Jillian Cabana with the Westport Police.

The man, who works for a tree cutting service in Norwalk, was transported to Norwalk Hospital with unknown injuries, police said.

OSHA officials have arrived on the scene to assist with the investigation of the accident, Cabana said.
